Over the years I have taken some talented musicians through the pregnancy and birth journey. I always tell them this story and they put their own spin on it as they meditate, listen and then create the most beautiful baby songs. I have them sing it to their belly every night when pregnant, then at birth I have them them welcome them into the world with it. Each night before bed they sing their child to sleep with it. It’s so beautiful I cry every time I hear one of their songs.
A few years back I was doing a phone session with one of my fertility clients in Philadelphia and she said, “every time I start thinking about this baby I am hoping to bring in ,I always start humming this tune that I never herd before”. “Thats it I said”, so she started humming it daily as if she was sending an vibrational call out to her baby. A few months later she became pregnant and hummed it daily and now she hums her baby boy to sleep every night. You don’t need to be a rock star or a singer/ song writer to find your baby’s song.
Sit quietly and start to picture and imagine your baby. (you can be pregnant or trying to conceive)
Feel what it would be like to be pregnant with them growing and thriving inside of you, to have them laying skin to skin on you after birth. feeling their heart on yours, smelling the fresh newness and rawness of your newborn child. Go deep into your heart and feel all your hopes and wishes for your life with this child and the family.
Meditate on this, go sit under a tree or out in nature somewhere if you want. And just listen, notice if you hear a tune or a vibration even get a download of words or visions .. follow what you hear and create your song from it.
The other day I was at a birth with such a beautiful couple i had the honor of supporting though out this magical journey. I feel so blessed so often that I get to whiteness so much love shared between couples and families. When Noahs wife Racheal was pregnant This talented musician wrote a song for his son. Every night he played it to his wife’s pregnant belly. I love that he brought his guitar in the room and played it to his son and his wife during labor. It Was so beautiful and touching to see and hear.
