This drink, what many are calling a SUPERFOOD I started having my mamas drink when trying to conceive, during pregnancy and ALWAYS post birth. I have been drinking it daily and my body can’t get enough of it ! Bone broth helps nourish and replenish the body. It’s also great to drink for anyone as it’s high in gelatin which helps heal and seal the gut. It’s great for the joints because it’s loaded with glucosamine. Keeps you youthful as it is loaded with collagen. Supports the immune system ( high in minerals ). Strengthens the bones ( high in calcium, phosphorous) fights inflammation and promotes healthy hair and nails. 1 organic whole chicken
8 c of water
4 -6 stalks of celery, finely chopped
½ white or yellow onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 Tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 inch ginger root, finely chopped
½ teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
Place all of the above ingredients in a crockpot and cook on low heat for 8 -10 hours.
My girl Elissa Goodman ( badass holistic nutritionist) taught me this trick when I was doing her amazing soup cleanse: Cut up some fresh organic parsley and cilantro and sprinkle on top to help remove and detox heavy metals from the body.
