The energy you bring to bed affects your sleep and the energy you start your day off with sets the pace for your day ahead. By carving out just the smallest amount of personal time to transition yourself to sleep or to start your day with can shift the energy to calm. I’m a Huge fan of journaling before bed. I write out anything I’m worried about, something that upset me that day, a feeling I can’t shake or even my “to do” list (which by the way is always so much bigger in your head then on paper).Writing purges this energy out of the mind, body and spirit by releasing it onto paper, so sleep can be more peaceful.
