I’m a doula, family + birth photographer, and a proud mama of two. I live and work in Los Angeles, supporting families through the raw, sacred, and life-changing moments of birth, postpartum, and early parenthood. My passion lies in holding space for women as they step into their power, because I believe birth isn’t just about babies being born — it’s about mothers being born, too.
Each birth is different, and every story deserves to be honored. Whether you’re planning a hospital birth, home birth, or something in between, I’m here to walk alongside you with an open heart, steady hands, reverence, care, and deep respect for whatever your journey looks like. Whether I’m there as your doula, your photographer, or both, my goal is always to support you in feeling seen, held, and empowered.
Moms are my muse. I believe they deserve to be treated like the goddesses they are — especially in birth and postpartum. This work is personal for me, and I’m honored every time I’m invited into someone’s birth story.

Stephanie Sands is a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula who believes that birth is meant to unfold as it has since the beginning of time—with trust, instinct, and the deep wisdom of the body leading the way. With a calm, nurturing presence, Stephanie helps families navigate the birth experience without fear, grounded in knowledge, connection, and confidence in their innate strength.
Blending evidence-based education with compassionate, hands-on care, she meets each moment with sensitivity and support, whether at home, in a birth center, or in the hospital. Stephanie believes every woman deserves to feel safe, seen, and powerful as she brings life into the world—and she’s honored to walk beside you on that journey.

Already Within is a sanctuary of remembrance and embodied healing - a space for women to return to the wisdom of their own bodies. Guided by Pam Kessinger, each offering weaves somatic yoga, intuitive bodywork, trauma-informed hypnotherapy, and sacred birth and postpartum care to support you through life’s sacred thresholds.
